Two of the winners in the children’s category in the 2013 Trócaire / Poetry Ireland Poetry Competition

Trócaire and Poetry Ireland have for many years worked together in the classroom, using the medium of poetry to explore global justice issues. With our competition, we invite poets of all ages, from primary school through to adult, published or unpublished, to let their imaginations and love of language loose on the chosen theme.
