Bridge on Karakoram Highway washed away in Besham district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan and no road link between Dobair to Kohistan now. Dobair is one of most affected area on Indus River more then 400 shops and 250 plus houses damaged in this area. The Karakoram Highway, which links Pakistan to China, has closed until now as rains washed away three main bridge in Besham, Dobair and Kayal, roads have been damaged on many places because of heavy landslides. Northern Pakistan is still cut off from the entire country and is one of the worst affected areas due to flood and land sliding in the ongoing torrential rains. With roads and bridges washed away, rescuers are struggling to reach people in northwest Pakistan.

This photo is about the floods that hit Pakistan late July/early August, 2010. The floods killed over 1,500 people and affected over 15 million people.
