This drama was the second in a set of four short dramas performed at the 2014 Conference organised by the Council for Marriage and the Family of the Irish Episcopal Conference.
The 2014 Conference was held in Holy Cross Diocesan Centre, Dublin on 14th June under the title – Marriage and Family at the Heart of the Parish.
Drama Two – This drama highlights the issue of double-standards and how we can be more concerned with saving facing in the community than dealing healthily with our problems.
John (father) – Liam Lenihan. John is a prominent member of society, involved with local church choir, member of local Golf Club and Officer of Local Credit Union.
Mary (wife) – Fiona O Donnell. Mary is a florist with her own business in the town. Regular church goer and member of local gym. Well known and respected.
Stacey (daughter) – Alison O’Donnell. Stacey is a 16yrs old, a pupils at her local school. Outgoing personality, though, at times sensitive. Popular among school-mates. She helps out in mother’s shop and attends the local Youth Club.
