In August 2018, here in Ireland, we look forward to welcoming people from every corner of the world for the World Meeting of Families
We also look forward, God willing, to having Pope Francis join us for the Festival of Families and the final Mass.
Ahead of the World Meeting of Families we are making available a preparation programme called ‘AMORIS: Let’s Talk Family, Let’s Be Family’.
At the centre of this programme is the document that Pope Francis has written on family and faith called ‘The Joy of Love’ or in Latin ‘Amoris Laetitia’.
The AMORIS programme will be a mixture of activities and conversations designed to help you reflect on the joys and challenges of family life today and what we mean by the gospel of the family.
These activities include ideas for sacramental and seasonal moments, for example our St Valentine’s Day gift tokens.
The AMORIS conversations will range across a six-night course for parish groups, a series of studio programmes along with a special set of animations.
